Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the website seeitnet.com (the “Platform”) and the services provided by See It Net (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Platform as either a Drone Operator (“Operator”) or a Customer, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. THE NATURE OF OUR SERVICE
1.1 The Platform
See It Net provides an online directory and marketplace that introduces Customers seeking drone-related services to independent Operators.
1.2 Introduction Only
See It Net is an intermediary platform only. We do not provide drone services ourselves.
1.3 No Agency
We do not employ Operators, nor are we partners or agents of any Operator. Any contract for drone services is formed solely between the Customer and the Operator. We are not a party to that contract.

2. OPERATOR TERMS (SUBSCRIPTION & LISTING)
2.1 Subscription
To access the Platform and list services, Operators must pay a subscription fee as detailed on the Platform. This fee is for the marketing and introduction service and is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
2.2 Operator Profile
Operators are responsible for the accuracy of their profiles. You must ensure all claims regarding equipment, experience, and pricing are truthful.
2.3 Regulatory Compliance
It is a strict condition of membership that Operators comply with all UK laws, including but not limited to:
•	Possession of a valid Operator ID and Flyer ID from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
•	Holding valid commercial drone insurance (compliant with EC 785/2004).
•	Adherence to the UK Drone Code.
2.4 No Verification
While See It Net may provide "verified" badges or review systems, we do not guarantee the current validity of an Operator’s insurance or CAA status at the time of a specific job. Customers are advised to perform their own due diligence.

3. CUSTOMER TERMS
3.1 Quotes
Customers may request quotes via the Platform. See It Net does not guarantee that any Operator will respond or that the quotes provided will be the lowest available.
3.2 Direct Engagement
Once a Customer selects an Operator, all further communication, scheduling, and payments must be conducted directly between the Customer and the Operator.
3.3 Responsibility
The Customer is responsible for ensuring the Operator has the necessary permissions (e.g., landowner permission) to conduct the flight at the requested location.
3.4 Protection
The Customer is responsible for filtering the files to be downloaded through reputable security software and ensure that they do not contain any function (e.g. one or more virus, or any other type of malware) which can cause damage and/or exposure to any type of cyber threat.

4. FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS
4.1 Payments for Services
All payments for drone photography or services are handled directly between the Customer and the Operator. See It Net does not handle "Job Payments," take commissions on jobs, or offer payment protection/escrow services.
4.2 Disputes
Any disputes regarding the quality of work, late delivery, or non-payment must be resolved directly between the Operator and the Customer.

5. MEDIA CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Media Uploads
The Platform allows Operators to upload images and videos ("Content") for Customer viewing or download.
5.2 Licensing
By uploading Content, the Operator grants See It Net a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that Content for the purposes of operating the Platform.
5.3 Ownership
Ownership of the Intellectual Property (IP) in the drone footage remains with the Operator (or as agreed between the Operator and Customer). See It Net claims no ownership over the media.
5.4 Prohibited Content
Users must not upload Content that is illegal, infringes on privacy (GDPR), or violates third-party IP rights.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
6.1 Service Quality
See It Net is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of the services provided by Operators.
6.2 Operational Risks
We are not liable for any accidents, property damage, personal injury, or legal breaches (such as privacy violations or air traffic violations) caused by an Operator during the performance of a job.
6.3 Platform Availability
We provide the Platform "as is." We are not liable for any loss of business resulting from website downtime or technical errors.
6.4 Maximum Liability
To the extent permitted by law, See It Net’s total liability to any Operator is limited to the amount of the subscription fee paid in the 6 months preceding the claim.

7. TERMINATION & SUSPENSION
7.1 Breach
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any Operator profile without notice if we receive multiple Customer complaints, or if the Operator is found to be operating without valid insurance or CAA registration.
7.2 Cancellation
Operators may cancel their subscription at any time; however, no pro-rata refunds will be given for the remaining term of the subscription.

8. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)
8.1 Data Processing
See It Net processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
8.2 Confidentiality
Operators and Customers agree to handle each other’s personal data (names, addresses, phone numbers) in compliance with the UK GDPR and solely for the purpose of completing the agreed drone service.

9. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
